So...
...who's going on the Youth Retreat???? ONLY A WEEK AND ONE HALF AWAY!!!!!!
This will be my first youth retreat. I'll be there from Sunday through Wednesday morning. I wanted to come to the whole thing but I've already just about run out of vacation time. I haven't had much opportunity to get to know the youth or even those who have recently moved on to college age. I'm hoping this might help a little bit.
congradulations! (for this being the first...) I'm sure you'll have a blast, and the connections and conversations always prove to be good, especially if you take initiative and make some pointed conversation with someone.

As you know, this is Michael's first youth retreat! (Yes, I'm getting old!) Keep an eye on him--he is excited and nervous at the same time. He has his own little blogspot too and would LOVE a comment--www.lakemonstersfan.blogspot.com
Yeah, I just found his site!! I love it. I'm glad that so many ppl have blogs because I will have a "quick" way to keep in touch. :) Of course, too much time can be spent online, but oh well. I am so excited for the Youth Retreat this year, and I think I will be spending a lot of time with the junior high. Michael will have a blast!
