Forgiveness
Lately I have been reminded again and again that forgiveness is such a hard action to learn.
Colossians 3:13
"Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you."
For me, it is pride. Also linked to this is my reluctance to apologize. I think that I am right, and that I should not humble myself before man. That's definately something to reflect on and talk with God about.
Oh.. Elisabeth. I can totally relate. My pride is what hinders me.. It is a real fight to subdue and tell myself that my hinderance is all do to the SIN OF PRIDE... When I make it graphic in words about how ugly my sin is.. it helps. But wow... the cool thing is that we have the power.. power to obey ..power to forgive .. power to humble ourselves before man and God all because of Jesus. How cool is that?

amen! I love the concept of having the power to resist and fight and not capitulate to sin.
